"Shepherd
your people with your staff, the flock of your inheritance, which lives
by itself in a forest, in fertile pasture lands. Let them feed in
Bashan and Gilead as in days long ago."(Micah 7:14)
"We
always thank Dad for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. we
continually remember before our King and Dad your work produced by
faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope
in our Master JC." (1 Thessalonians 1:2-3)
All these for His glory & honor & praise alone! (^_^)
Two weeks gone by were loud & busy weeks
on campus due to colleges’ celebration & upcoming finals. But Dad’s work is
never veiled. Study of the good book continues as we conducted the five love languages
test. The
students enjoyed the discussion of the Love month.
We started distributing the Ignited forms for
summer trips. There’s much consultation with Dad going on. We’ve been talking
about messengers’
story one
at a time for encouragement on summer works. Resonate started lecturing the
same topic too as we continually equip the students.
We had opportunities to share with 26 students with 24 positive
responses.
ptL for privileges! Jerald had his first sharing one-on-one with his classmate. ptL for his
boldness & obedience of sharing about JC to others!
We had some moments of fun time too
celebrating Grizelle & Mary Rose birthday. ptL for these two young lives so
willing to go for Dad this summer! Please do lift them up as Grizelle commits
to set out to San Marcelino Zambales & Mary Rose to Agoo La Union.
Please do pray for other students too who are
willing to go but needs confirmation from their parents:
-Diana-Serel
-Raquel-Jeff
-Sharon-Sheena
-Ghel-Steph
-Ron-JP
-Chu-Lars
-Nique-Tin
Finals is approaching. The students have been
really busy complying with their academics’ requirements. We also have lots of
researches & paper works to do in our master’s studies together with organizing the
summer works. Please do help us before Dad for strength & wisdom &
guidance as we do stuff.
Thank you so much, our dears. You’ve always
been wonderful people in our lives & Overflow. Imparting you good tidings!
(^_^)
With the assignment we gave the students the
past weeks they all did a great job leading, having PT by group, doing sharing
and studies of the good book. Two groups were very consistent with the task – BSA girls & JDP
group.
Grizelle and Ron led their group well. Their obedience has been much of honor
to us but most to Dad. The group members are even sharing individually with
their classmates and leading them for OBD. They have also made follow ups and
there is this new group of 1st yr Advertising students they’ll be starting
OBD with. Though one group – the COOPs, has not been that fruitful with the
assignment, we still ptL for their humble hearts. We just know for certain that
Dad mightily works in their lives according to His will & purpose.
For three weeks, the team got to share with 106 PUPians and 98 of those accepted JC. Studies of the
good book keeps on within the groups except for the individuals who have been
missing and some are really busy with their jobs & academics. Please do
remember to lift them up that they would still continue to seek JC in their
everyday walks.
Jerald, our enthusiastic beginner, went swimming
last 11th February. ptL for this young man’s commitment to JC!
Summer is near. We’re also having some hard
time managing everything yet Dad is always amazing working things out for those
who love Him. Please remember IGNITED teams since we have six points to set out this
summer: Rizal, Dagupan, La Union,
Palawan, South Cotabato , and Zambales.
We’ll give you more details about the trips by next mail.
Thank you again and again, our dears, for you
unfailing support to us and the work in PUP. Blessings! (^_^)
We
had a real good two weeks break, spending time with our family &
relatives. We had fine rest too & had more time to prepare for the
work this year. Dad is so good!
It
has been three weeks since classes resume and we met with the students
again. They all had been safe & sound by Dad' grace. Studies
of the good book have been very frequent lately since the students have
been incredibly consistent meeting with us on campus. Dad is really
marvelous working in these young lives.
Our
daily activities are unswerving. the kids are truly participating & getting much engaged with Dad's mighty works in PUP. The team got to share with a few students about the good news. ptL! Though midterm exams are on yet Dad is always at work.
In our Master's studies, Dad has been so amazing to give an opportunity to speak of His wisdom & greatness in Mean's class
and she had her report on different philosophical thoughts. Also, Dad
gave her a privilege to share a piece of her testimony about Dad's
wonderful plan & purpose for each man to her other class. Dad is so
awesome in fulfilling His promise of expanding the territory. ptL!
Kathy
is now on preparation for another expansion in a technical college. She
will be attending training for one week to qualify her for the
college's assessment as an instructor. By Dad's will she will be
starting the work on the new school by next school year.
For
this week we implemented assignment training
for the students. Please do help us lift it up to Dad as He continues
to equip these students for His fame. We send you our much gratitude.
The season’s break is starting. There are many activities happening around campus. Every college & class is celebrating the season. Our last week on campus for this year has been full of preparations for JC’s birthday bash. We bought stuff for the students, planned on the program. ptL! He has been so good to provide, just in time, a venue for the event. We found just the right place near the campus.
As we were doing arrangements, Kathy had an opportunity to share with six students at lagoon. Three of them accepted the good news. ptL! The other three belong to a group of activists.
We had our PT with four students this week – Jerald, May, Geraldine, & Gem. ptL for these kids’ heart to come to Dad. Also, Jerald had his 3rd OBD session with us. ptL!
Finally, last Thursday we had our celebration. 21 students came with four alumni friends who visited us & joined the party. ptL for get-together moments & merrymaking for Him! We enjoyed much time with the students. We played charades too before the program proper as we were waiting for the others. Chu did well leading the team to sing songs for Dad. Lars played the guitar; Monique on backup. ptL for His message & His challenge that day! The students made a commitment letter to JC. It went all smoothly according to plan. Awesome Dad!
We have two weeks break. ptL! Classes will resume on January 5th. Please lift up that the students’ walk with JC will not vacate with the season. Thank you so much our dears, for holding us in your moments with Dad. Know for certain that we do lift you up too, as always. Greeting you wonderful holidays! (^_^)
JC’s
birthday is real near! There has been lots of merriment going on. Last two Resonate for this year went
well & fun. Last Thursday, the students had their presentations for JC’s party.
Bossing shared about abundant life through & in JC – a real good message to ponder on
this season. PUP-Overflow team won the grand
prize unexpectedly from the campus presentations.
The kids did well as a team singing carols for Dad. Honor to Him alone!
At campus,
we got to share with 16 students who positively responded to the good news. ptL! One of
them, Jerald, came
back & started his OBD sessions with us. This kid has been consistently
coming back the couple of weeks. He’s been joining us for PT whenever he’s
available on mornings. He’s been so willing coming to Resonate too - an enthusiastic beginner. ptL
for his heart! Please do remember him in your moments with Dad.
Sharon had her BS continuing on. We discussed about our very
purpose living & the cost of following JC. She had her cousin Jennifer join us for the BS,
also a PUPian. She will be starting OBD sessions with her three cousins in
their boarding house near the campus. ptL for that! Sharon has been one of the committed leaders
we have right now doing the work. Please lift her up too.
BSA
girls tackled about generous giving. Leah led the group. These
girls have always been up & consistent. JDP finally had their Dship
training. The group showed
excitement in making their next generation of JC’s followers. ptL! Please do lift up their
commitment & heart to obeying Dad’s work for them.
Our master’s classes
are going fine. We have term papers, researches & reports to handle by the
season’s break. So far so good by Dad’s grace.
By next week, on the 18th,
Overflow will celebrate JC’s birthday. Please do lift up that we’ll have a
fixed venue for that. May the kids really grasp what this season is all about
as we have our theme, “His birth, our life.”
We continually send
our gratitude to you, our dears. You mean so much to us & this work Dad
entrusted us at campus. We long to hear from you too.
We have been very grateful to Dad for everything He's been doing on campus & in our lives. For the last couple of weeks here are Dad's works at PUP:
The team got to share with 98 students where 97 responded positively.
BS has been consistent by Dad's grace, both with groups & individuals.
BSA girls & JDP group are doing well with leading & delivering Dad's message.
Coops' rotation in leading their group on BS started.
OBD sessions with Coops Trio, BSA Trio & OU girls are going on. Sometimes their OBD leaders forget their schedule but they're catching up. Thanks Dad for that. The student leaders are working out with their tasks.
Resonate is going real well. The students are enjoying more of the music, message & fellowship as time goes by.
Kathee had the privilege to share her testimony with four classmates as they were hanging out waiting for their next class in ICTC. ptL for such chances! Me-An also had the opportunity to share in her Guidance class about JC being the greatest counselor ever & the fear of Him as the beginning of wisdom. Amazing Dad! This has been very momentous for us. At one point we had asked Dad if we made a wrong decision of taking up Master's with expanding His works on Grad School in mind. Yet Dad truly places His people where we could most honor Him. ptL for His goodness & faithfulness at all times!
Concerns:
nBS groups' schedule – (academic stuff has been busier this semester for the students)
nJames to continually follow up with BSA trio (for this group is really willing to have BS every time & James is being forgetful at times)
nHRDM girls Ludivine, Rose, Aiza, Jad & Gracia – newbies willing for BS. Please do lift up we could start with them by next week & that they'd be a consistent group too
nDship training (this time we'll be doing it by group for their ease & expectantly it'll be more efficient for each group)
nPhysical strength… knowledge & wisdom… (we seem to always have lots of preparations to do both for campus works & Master's studies)
nJC's birthday bash on the 18th of December. Theme: "His birth, our life…"
Thank you again & again, our dears for your unceasing support. We always remember you in every instance we have with Dad. Bequeathing you good tidings! (^_^)
I can't believe you're here with me And now it seems my world's complete And I never want this moment to end I close my eyes and still I see My dreams become reality And now I know how it feels to be in love I prayed so many nights that you would come my way An angel from above to light my darkest day I think it's time for you to hear these lines 'Cos there's something I want to say
I finally found what I've been looking for And now you know I'm going to love you more Hold me tight 'cos it's always been you (It's always been you) To think that you were always there (always there) To be my friend and wipe away my tears Now it's clear that it's always been you
Sometimes you don't expect that friends Can become lovers in the end Only God knows what the future will bring So hold me close and don't let go 'Cos this is love boy, don't you know? And we're gonna be together for eternity I prayed so many nights that you would come my way An angel from above to light my darkest day A love so strong it can't be wrong It's with you that I belong
I finally found what I've been looking for (finally found) And now you know I'm going to love you more Hold me tight 'cos it's always been you (It's always been you) To think that you were always there ( you were always there) To be my friend and wipe away my tears Now it's clear that it's always been you (you)
(This time) this time I'm gonna make sure it turns out right I wanna be your everything and by your side For the rest of my life (This love) This love feels the way that love should be Look in my eyes and realise there's no disguise 'Cos I'm in love with you
I finally found what I've been looking for And now you know I'm going to love you more Hold me tight 'cos it's always been you To think that you were always there (you were always there) To be my friend and wipe away my tears (Wipe away my tears) Now it's clear that it's always been you (It's always been you)
I finally found what I've been looking for (I finally found) And now you know I'm going to love you more Hold (oh) me tight 'cos it's always been you (It's always been you) To think that you were always there (don't you know?) To be my friend and wipe away my tears (oh baby) Now it's clear that it's always been you (Always been you, yeah yeah)
I finally found what I've been looking for (I finally found it) And now you know I'm going to love you more (Yeah, I finally found it) Hold me tight 'cos it's always been you (It's always been you oh) To think that you were always there (what I been looking for) To be my friend and wipe away my tears (What I been looking for) Now it's clear that it's always been you (Always always)
Second semester for this school year started two weeks ago. Dad has always been faithful. We got to meet our BS groups & set their new BS schedule for this semester.
We have started our Masters too. It's a new territory Dad is giving us. We have professionals (educators, office workers, IT experts), kind of tough living people yet nothing is really tough with Dad. We're enjoying much new things around – new environment, new people to deal with & lift up. Thank Dad we've been meeting a few from our class who are also in JC. They are much interested with the works on campus. Well, that's every Saturday at the Grad School & ICTC (the main computer lab).
On weekdays, Dad started once again His works at PUP. There has been consistent BS the past week for five groups. Tin on pressing toward the goal; Mary Rose on living in the light; Stephanie led the COOPs Trio for their 4th OBD. The kids are doing well leading & stepping out for Dad. You witness them grow up, learn Dad's truth & deliver it wonderfully, filled. It's overflowing joy to see & hear them that way.
Kathee discussed with the COOPs about service & commitment to Dad. That's a good start for this new sem for the group. Me-An discussed the Farmer scattering seeds with May & Cheng, both returnees after a year & a half yet they wanted much to be doing study with us again.
Though our schedule on Saturdays is whole day, Dad gave us some vacant time to have BS with Sharon & also with Karla. He really places things in order.
EBlitz continues. We had 78 contacts so far, 67 of those accepted the good news. ptL!
First Resonate for this sem also began last Thursday. Chu , Lars & Nique have been committed to Dad joining the music team. BSA girls (Grizel, Leah, Diana, Mary Rose) were able to join for the 1st time. ptL for that too!
Please help us lift up a few concerns we have right now:
nTeaching job opportunities on campus
nDad's works in our Master's classes
nConsistent follow up on existing & new BS groups
nStudent leaders to constantly step out for Him and handle group of their own
Thank you so much, our dears for your continuous support in this work to which Dad called us. We bid you good tidings! (^_^)
i woke up early (super early)... around 4am & my class starts at 8. kind of excited... really excited... hehe...
so i arrived at school an hour before my first class. waited for some minutes, praying... preparing to shine for my JESUS... (^_^)
made friends, fine friends... more mature than i am... we talked, we laughed... building rapport... nice!
then there was this married lady who sat beside me taking up Master in Psychology. we have the same subject for our first class. i have on my regi card the exact room number, she doesn't. on hers only says 2nd floor. so she found our room. same floor, same subject.
all of us in that room are taking up MEM (Master in Educational Management). Except, of course for this one Psychologist. we talked. Get to know some infos about her, her job in the mental hospital in Mandaluyong, her kids, her major... a lot more.
she asked me too. as soon as she heard i'm doing a voluntary work in our church CrossWay Ministries, she said "So you're a Christian!"... she smiled, did not say another word about it. we talked another thing... i believe she has an idea about CHRISTIANITY... (^_^)
she stuck with me even after class though. she's kind of an aunt to me but i saw that she wanted much to stick with me more than anyone else in class though everyone else has been really so friendly to one another.
we met Kathy & Alfie at the lobby. i introduced her to them. she seemed fine meeting new friends. we had lunch together. she had her next class & i don't have mine.
ACCIDENTAL? NO. (^_^) later on we found her class at 2nd floor, same subject & they are Psychology master students. waaah!!! she got lost yet she had that class with us (education students). DAD's plan...
afternoon came. i texted her if she's gone home already since she has her last class at 2:30. and i was waiting for mine at 5:30. she replied, "Yes, i'm in MRT alreay. Thanks for being such a nice co for me today. You take care on your way home."
it was incidental she lost her way to her real class. i never knew if she is also of the same faith (she never mentioned it either) yet DAD showed me that when you shine for Him, people will definitely see your light & will be attracted to it. (^_^)
i thank DAD for letting me shine for Him & i want HIM to shine more & more in my life that people would come to know Who HE truly is... & they would love Him too the way i do... the way HE deserves to be... (^_^)
